Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 22, 2026
NoteHopper (referred to as “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles data when you use our service to migrate Google Keep notes to Notion.
1. Data We Process
The App is designed to perform a specific task: converting Google Keep Takeout files and uploading them to your Notion workspace. To do this, the App processes the following:
- Files and Documents: The ZIP file containing your Google Keep notes that you manually provide.
- Personal Communications: The text, images, and content within your notes.
- Authentication Information: The Notion Integration Secret and Page Link you provide to facilitate the upload.
2. No Data Collection or Storage
We believe your data belongs to you.
- Local Processing: All file parsing and data conversion happen locally on your device.
- No Developer Servers: We do not own or maintain any external servers. Your notes and credentials are never transmitted to us or any third party, except for the Notion API.
- No Persistent Storage: The App does not store your Google Keep data or Notion secrets after the session is closed.
3. Data Transmission (Third Parties)
The App transmits your data to Notion Labs, Inc. via the official Notion API. This transmission is secured using HTTPS encryption.
Additionally, the App utilizes standard Google Play Services and core system libraries to facilitate basic app functions (such as processing in-app purchases and file selection). These services may transmit automated, non-identifying technical telemetry to Google to ensure service stability and process transactions.
We do not share, sell, or disclose your information to any other third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
4. Analytics and Tracking
The App does not use any marketing cookies, tracking pixels, or user-behavior analytics software. We do not track your location, personal device identifiers, or specific usage patterns for marketing purposes.
While the underlying Android platform and its core libraries (like Google Play Services) may generate technical logs related to system performance and API health, we do not access this data to identify individual users or build profiles.
5. User Control and Data Deletion
As NoteHopper does not store any user data on its own servers, there is no data to delete from our side. For data that has been migrated to Notion, users can manage and delete their information directly within the Notion interface. If you have any concerns, please contact notehopper@gmail.com.
6. Permissions
The App may request access to your device’s storage to allow you to select the Google Keep ZIP file. This permission is used solely for the purpose of selecting the file you wish to migrate.
